The Existential Question...

Monday 11th December

Hello đź‘‹

Ever heard the phrase, "No one is ever really gone"?

It's a comforting thought. That those we love always linger in some form—through memories, legacies, and the impact they've left on the world.

But this phrase got me thinking in reverse: If no one's really gone, are we ever truly here?

Our lives are often a juggling act between past reminiscences and future dreams.

Between 'what was' and 'what could be.'

But where does that leave 'what is'?

If our souls or 'being' have their external place, dancing between yesterday’s echoes and tomorrow’s whispers, how do we ground ourselves in the now?

How do we ensure we're truly here?

It's a bit like staring at the stars.

The light you see is old, possibly from a star that no longer exists.

So when we look at each other, are we seeing the person in front of us, or are we looking at the light of their past selves?

Being truly present, truly 'here,' might be one of our greatest challenges.

It's an art, a conscious effort to anchor ourselves in the moment we're living, not just physically but with our full awareness and being.

I like to experience life, as an observer. To detach slightly, recalibrate, and then jump back in.

So, how do we know if we're truly here?

Maybe it's those moments when time seems to stand still, when the world fades away, and all that's left is the pure experience of being—whether that’s in laughter, in tears, in wonder, or in silence.

Take a moment today to just be today. And, just remember, you’re here for a reason.

Until we meet again in this vast space of now,

Stay curious,
